Got to the beach at about 10. Put my 9m up and went out and it was pretty horrible, gusting alot. Got to the point where i thought that i was going to get ripped off the front of my board, and lose it so i came in. Had another go a couple of hours later after taking a few pictures of my mate out on his 7m. It was still rubbish! had about 2 hours on the water in total, but it was definitely more of a survival session ! looked at the weather data in the evening and apparently one of the gusts reached 48knots !! definitely too much !
